What we collect
- Your account details: email address and, if you use it, your Google profile name.
- Your work: projects, saved papers, notes, drafts, comments and extractions you create.
- Usage: how many AI actions you use, so we can apply plan limits.
- Waitlist: if you join the waitlist, your email, your role and your field, used only to tell you when Lattice is ready.
- Payments: which plan or pack you bought, the amount and the date. Card details go to the payment provider and never reach our servers.
How we use it
To run Lattice: sign you in, store your work, run the AI features you ask for, enforce limits, process payments and keep the service secure. We don't sell your data.
Who else handles it
- Our database and sign-in provider stores your account and work. Our database is currently hosted in Singapore.
- Our hosting providers serve the website and the live co-writing service.
- Cloudflare runs the bot check when you sign up or sign in. Google handles sign-in if you choose "Continue with Google".
- Our AI provider, Anthropic, receives the text you send to an AI feature so it can generate the response.
- Our payment provider processes payments.
- Literature databases such as PubMed receive the search terms you use.
This means your data may be processed in countries other than your own.
Patient information
Lattice isn't designed to hold identifiable patient data. Only paste or upload text that has been de-identified, and only if you're allowed to use it for research. If you think identifiable data was entered by mistake, delete it from your project and tell us.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your projects and content at any time. You can ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access or correct your data.
Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember your theme. We don't use advertising cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy and will note the date at the top. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app.
